IT Help Desk Professional

IT Helpdesk/ Full Time/ $16-$18/Hour

DLTC Healthcare, a leading Maine assisted-living provider has an opening for an IT help desk professional. This position is full time (40 hours/week).

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • 2-3 years related experience

Responsibilities:

  • Providing helpdesk support and resolving end user problems to their satisfaction
  • Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to helpdesk tickets
  • Monitoring helpdesk for tickets assigned to the queue and processing first-in first-out based on priority
  • Escalating service tickets appropriately
  • Assisting with the onboarding and off-boarding of new users
  • Maintaining and tracking inventory of computers, keyboards, mice, and other computer peripherals needed to support the end users
  • Work with IT Director to maintain corporate compliance of all workstations and laptops
  • Maintaining system security
  • Office 365 maintenance such as creating new accounts and deleting old accounts
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection troubleshooting and management
  • Traveling as far as Limestone, Maine all the way to Springvale while being based out of Rockland

Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long period of time at a desk
  • Flexibility in scheduling required
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills needed
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft office suite
  • Lifting requirements include periodic lifting of up to 15 lbs. (IT Equipment)
